Extension and renovation works during ongoing operations.
Getzner Textil AG is one of the largest and most successful representatives of the Vorarlberg textile industry. The traditional company, founded in 1818, completely renovated and expanded its headquarters in Bludenz in the last few years. In the course of these investments, Nägele Hoch- und Tiefbau was awarded the contract for the construction work on a multifaceted project in 2015.
This meant constructing a new metalworking shop, an electrical workshop and an apprentice workshop over the course of several construction stages. The offices of the entire technical department were extensively renovated and modernised. Another part of the contracted work involved constructing a connecting bridge leading to the office wing.
The key challenge involved in all these activities was carrying out the works in the middle of the company premises, right next to the main entrance, without disrupting production operations. In late 2016 the landscaping work for the outdoor facilities was completed, bringing the project to a successful conclusion.
