The new build in Gaschurn was commissioned by Silvretta Montafon GmbH and the order volume for the construction work is approximately 1.2 million euros. The architectural firm Gogl designed the new building, which is located on the site of the former lower terminus of the old Versettla ski lift.
A sporting goods shop with ski rental will be housed on the ground floor of the building. A new restaurant with an après-ski bar will extend across the two upper floors. The entire basement was constructed and the excavation pit backfilled as planned before the start of the 2017/2018 winter season. Construction work continued immediately after the end of the skiing season and was completed on schedule in early July.
Now it's the finishing trades' turn to ensure that winter sports enthusiasts can use the building when the new season begins.
